RESEARCH INTERESTS:

I am interested in sustainable energy projects approached from the intersection of physics, chemistry, and engineering. I am working in the Dasgupta Group in two catalysis projects, the first of which focuses on photocatalysis as a means of cleanly synthesizing ammonia, and the second focused on electrocatalysis as a means of electrochemically reducing carbon dioxide. These work hand-in-hand as the first generates a valuable resource without generating the harmful byproducts associated with the Haber-Bosch process, and the other converts the harmful byproducts seen in a plethora of industrial and commercial processes and converts them into alternative, more useful products.
