Amit Misra named editor-in-chief of MRS Bulletin
Amit Misra, Edward DeMille Campbell Collegiate Professor of Materials Science & Engineering
The Materials Research Society (MRS) recently announced that Amit Misra, Edward DeMille Campbell Collegiate Professor of Materials Science & Engineering, has been named the next Editor-in-Chief of MRS Bulletin. He succeeds Gopal R. Rao, who retired in December 2024.
A respected MRS Fellow (FMRS) and leader in the materials field, Misra brings deep expertise in complex alloys, electron microscopy, nanomechanics, additive manufacturing, and thin films. As MRS Bulletin celebrates 50 years, he is committed to driving the journal forward as the premier destination for groundbreaking materials research.
