Suk wins Outstanding Student Researcher Award

MSE is pleased to announce that Wonjoon Suk, a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate, was selected as the 2025 winner for the Outstanding Student Researcher (OSR) award, which is conferred annually by the Energy Materials and Systems Division (EMSD), American Ceramic Society (ACerS). A member of the Li group, Suk's research experimentally measures how the current is distributed among individual particles during the charge and discharge of Li-ion batteries. 

Suk received the award yesterday, October 1, at the MS&T Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
