MSE is pleased to announce that Professor Steve Yalisove received the award for Outstanding Contributions to Materials Education at the 10th annual North American Materials Education Symposium (NAMES) held at Stanford University August 8-9.

The two-day NAMES conference is a leading venue for the university-level materials education community to come together to discuss ideas, tools, and best practice relating to the teaching of materials in across engineering, design, and science. The event includes a packed speaker program that covers a wide range of topics related to the teaching of materials in materials science, manufacturing and processes, mechanical engineering, industrial design, aerospace and nuclear engineering, bio engineering, plastics, and sustainable engineering.

Yalisove is the fourth recipient of the Outstanding Contributions to Materials Science Award.
