Guidelines on Peer Review

A good peer review includes constructive comments that strive to help the author improve the manuscript, rather than criticism for criticism sake.  Look for all the elements that make up a good report.  Are the methods explained sufficiently? Are the results given in enough detail, and are the conclusions based on the given results?  Is the format appropriate?  Do the figures convey the intended information?  Is the grammar and style correct?  Was the manuscript proofread?
