Mechanical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin Alex is a second year graduate student in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences.  He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. Alex is currently working on ion-beam induced photoluminescent silicon nanofibers.
