(Chemistry) at the Chemnitz University of Technology. He is working on his PhD there as well. His research is focused on catalyst research for exhaust gas treatment. Besides Chemistry Thomas is also interested in LabView development. In the Laine group he is working on processing and characterization of ceramic thin films.
