Academic Training:
B.S. in Chemical and Materials Science Engineering (2020), CCIT, Taiwan Short Bio:
- Born and raised in Taiwan. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted independent research focused on developing Mn-Ce conversion coatings to enhance the corrosion resistance of the LZ91 Mg alloy. This work culminated in a journal publication titled “Characteristic V-Mn Conversion Coating in Reinforcing Corrosion Resistance of Electroless Ni-P Coated LZ91 Mg Alloy,” published in Surface & Coatings Technology in July 2020
- After graduating, I joined a mechanical engineering factory as a systems engineer in 2021, where my team and I focused on enhancing wear and corrosion-resistant coatings for large-scale production. This role presented significant challenges in material selection, machine calibration, and system integration, necessitating meticulous, step-by-step validation processes. These hands-on experiences illuminated the complexities of applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and inspired me to pursue advanced studies to further deepen my expertise.”
Research Interests:
- Physical vapor deposition
- Materials characterization
