However, I found more excitement in working on the electron microscopes. My current research is focusing on in situ nanomechanical testing of metallic nanocomposites in TEM. We are trying to find the link between microstructure and mechanical properties of materials. In our Cu/Mo nanocomposites with bicontinuous intertwined structure, simultaneous higher strength and good deformability were obtained. Huge basketball fan who likes model building.
