| With the promise of flexible, transparent Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) fast becoming reality, researchers around the World are searching for novel emissive materials. In our lab we are exploring a new class of fully organic phosphorescent material. These materials exhibit solid-state, room temperature phosphorescence of over sixty percent and emit very pure green color. With further work we anticipate to adapt these materials to full color and white OLEDs as well as possible applications in photovoltaics and sensors. |
