Dave graduated in 1994 and is now a member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratory. Dave is collaborating with our group on several projects. He is also a new dad as you can see from the picture with his son Michael.

Jeff graduated in 1999 and is now a staff member at Argonne National Laboratory

Oleh graduated in 1996 and is currently a senior engineer at Intel Corp. in California

Laraba graduated in 1997 and is now teaching in Dayton, Ohio.

Joel’s research generally concerns the interaction of ultrashort laser pulses with a variety of materials. In particular, he has studied femtosecond laser induced damage to silicon with oxide films of varying thickness using optical, electron, and atomic force microscopy as well as novel pump-probe imaging techniques. He has also performed work with laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, specifically applied to turbine blade materials as a part of the Hyperspectral and Extreme Light Diagnostics for Defense-Critical Advanced Materials and Processes MURI project.

Jay graduated in 2000 and is currently a member of technical staff at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California.

Zhibo graduated in 1999 and is now a member of technical staff at Delphi Systems in Michigan.
