Research Facilities


Jordan Occena received his B.S. degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Tulsa in 2013.  He is a Ph.D. candidate in MSE at the University of Michigan, advised by Prof. Rachel Goldman.  His research focuses on growth and characterization of GaAsNBi films and heterostructures.  He recently received a DOE Basic Energy Science Graduate Student Research Fellowship to spend the year at the National Renewable Energy Research Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, examining atomic ordering and phase separation in his GaAsNBi films.
