mhjelm@engin.umich.edu Mike received his B.S.E. degree in MSE from UM in 2000. Mike worked in industry for 2 years before returning to Michigan for graduate school. His graduate research in the Goldman group was related to spintronic structures and their characterization with cross-sectional STM. Mike completed his M.S.E. degree in May 2004. He is currently a Customer Support Engineer at Oxford Instruments, serving the Northwest U.S.
